For the past three weeks, the judges have traveled throughout the Dan River Region and heard some AMAZING talent! This is, of course, the first "Christian and Gospel" version of the Southside Super Star singing contest, but it really does have a much different feel than its secular counterpart. . . It's still a singing contest, but the ministry element brings a whole new perspective. The contestants that are going to be performing have a heart and passion for singing, but also for carrying forward God's love by helping the community.
The first night of the competition is set for Friday, September 11, 2009, 7:00PM at the City Auditorium in Downtown Danville, VA. Come on down and check it out!
